CASA PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program Supervisor provides professional services to CASA volunteer advocates ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and timely permanency planning. The CASA Program Supervisor is responsible for volunteer supervision, recruitment, retention, training, coordination of cases and working in collaboration with the Courts and Department of Human Services.
A Bachelors degree in social work or related field is required. Applicants must possess the ability to communicate with, recruit, supervise and empower volunteers to be effective in their roles - experience working with volunteers given preference. Applicants must have knowledge and understanding of issues and dynamics within families in crisis relating to child abuse and neglect. Strong applicants will have the ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities - supervisory experience given preference.
The position requires commitment to the goals and mission of Livingston County CASA & LACASA. The position is a part-time 20 hours/week position with the potential to expand to full-time in July 2011. SEXUAL ASSAULT NURSE EXAMINER PROGRAM COORDINATOR
A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the SANE Program in Livingston
County. Minimum requirement is a Registered Nurse and certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse preferred. ON CALL SEXUAL ASSAULT NURSE EXAMINER
The On-Call Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner is responsible for
conducting forensic sexual assault exams to sexual assault victims (ages 12 to Adult). Minimum requirement is a Registered Nurse and certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse preferred. ON CALL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE NURSE EXAMINER
The On-Call Domestic Violence Nurse Examiner is responsible for a new program that will include conducting forensic exams to domestic violence victims. Minimum requirement is a Registered Nurse. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse preferred. Training available.
